Adobe Creative Cloud
Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services used for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography. UNCG students, faculty, and staff have access to Adobe Creative Cloud software, for academic and work-related purposes only.

Canvas
Canvas is an asynchronous learning management system used by faculty teaching online or blended courses at UNCG. ITS: Learning Technology staff members provide administration, training, and support services for Canvas as well as pedagogical training for using Canvas in the classroom.

Canvas Studio
Studio is an interactive media tool that is available in every Canvas course, allowing comments or quiz questions to be added throughout video and audio content. You can pull videos from YouTube, upload your own audio or video files, or use it to record videos for use with these interactive features. Explore examples of Studio through this Canvas Demo Course.

Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is a communication tool that includes chat, document sharing, real-time collaboration, voice calling, and audio/video conferencing capabilities. All UNCG students, faculty, and staff can use Microsoft Teams. Faculty and staff also have access to Microsoft Teams Voice for telecommunications.

Panopto
Panopto is a video platform that offers faculty the ability to capture their lectures at UNCG. Our Classroom Technology team is currently implementing learning spaces with the necessary hardware and software for the Fall semester. NOTE: Panopto is only available through December 2024.

Qualtrics
Qualtrics is a web-based application used to design, distribute, and analyze online surveys. Faculty, staff, and students may access Qualtrics by logging in to uncg.qualtrics.com with your UNCG username and password.

Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor
Respondus LockDown Browser is an application that prevents students from accessing other websites, tools, and resources while taking online tests and quizzes. Respondus Monitor uses the student’s webcam to create a recording of the student’s behavior while they are taking the test.

Third-Party Canvas Integrations
Canvas supports LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability®), a standard that makes it possible to integrate third-party tools with your Canvas course, or enhance the course with other web applications and internet resources. LTI tools can be added to the entire UNCG account (aka “root account”) in Canvas, meaning the tools would be available for use in all courses and organizations. They can also be added to individual courses and to college/school/department subaccounts in Canvas.

Turnitin
Turnitin is plagiarism detection software that integrates directly with Canvas and scans student work for matched text by comparing the work to a large database of student work, publications, and materials on the internet.
