Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services used for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography. UNCG students can access Creative Cloud apps in ITS-managed classrooms and labs, and faculty and staff can request licenses based on their needs. Use of Adobe Creative Cloud software is limited to academic and work-related purposes only.

How to Access

The Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications is available to students in ITS-managed classrooms and labs. Faculty and staff can request licenses based on their needs. If approved, faculty and staff would then install and access the applications on UNCG-owned computers or personal computers used for UNCG business.

Students wishing to use Adobe Creative Cloud applications must access them through an ITS-managed classroom or lab. Faculty and staff wishing to use must request a license.

Adobe Creative Cloud Faculty/Staff Request

  1. Fill out the Adobe User License Request form.
  2. Log in with your UNCG credentials.
  3. Complete the form with your role (faculty/staff) and reason for requesting the license.
  4. ITS will review your request and send installation and login instructions by email.

If you are a faculty or staff member who has been approved for an Adobe CC license, You may activate and sign in to your account on any (and only) two computers, whether UNCG-owned or personally owned. See Adobe Creative Cloud – Activation Limit for more information.

Follow these steps to request a user license.

For faculty and staff who have a license, you can access some Adobe apps through a web browser or mobile device instead of downloading the application to your computer. Log in to Adobe, then click the different tabs labeled Mobile and Web. Find more information about accessing Adobe apps on the Adobe Support webpage.


Instructor Training

Group, one-on-one, or virtual sessions are available to faculty on workshops.uncg.edu. If you cannot find what you’re looking you can request training.
