You can join your class meetings from either the Class Team, Teams calendar, or your Outlook calendar—it just depends on how your instructor has set things up. If your class meetings aren’t showing up in your calendar, you may have been added after they were scheduled. Check your Class Team to find the meeting links.

Users signing in to Teams meeting may notice the Guest tag next to their name and that they do not have access to some features. This happens when Teams does not recognize UNCG login information. The most common reason for this error is that the browser’s login information hasn’t been refreshed.
For information on how to correct this issue visit: Troubleshoot Teams is listing me as a guest.
UNCG Microsoft 365 accounts can host large virtual meetings and webinars with Microsoft Teams up to 20,000 participants. Learn more about the number of participants you can host and their capabilities at: Hosting Large Events.
In Microsoft Teams, chats and files shared within a channel are only accessible to team members by default. This makes channels ideal for private meetings where you need to keep materials confidential like IRB meetings, focus groups, meetings subject to HIPAA and/or FERPA regulations, etc., and any scenario where information needs to be limited to a select group.
